GLAM JAMZ: Cristina Black’s “GET READY” Playlist

Glam Jamz is a column featuring party girl playlists curated by hot babes to listen to when you get glam for a night out. Learn more here.

This week, I bring you Cristina Black’s favorite songs to get ready to. Now, before you get to the jamz, pay attention: Cristina Black is the current music editor for FOAM Magazine, and an awesome freelance writer whose work has also appeared in Nylon, Village Voice, the Hairpin, and a bunch of other ridiculously cool outlets…

But more importantly, BLACK HAS GONE DUDE-WATCHING WITH KE$HA!!!!! OMG I DIE, BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT KE$HA… unless you don’t. And in that case you should know: I LOVE KE$HA!!!!!!!

Anyway.

Black actually followed me on Twitter a few months ago and I GEEKED OUT the way I always do when someone cool follows me. OMG. SO I present you her GET READY Playlist:

OBVS, you know I’m already all over that Britney Spears remix. But I had never heard of Iggy Azalea before this, and now I’m OBSESSED. I’ve been tweeting/texting everyone to listen to this song immediately. IT IS THE GREATEST “BITCH PLEASE” ANTHEM EVER. I’m also really into the Crocodiles’ song, if only because it sounds like “And Then He Kissed Me” by the Crystals (hello, Adventures in Babysitting!).

BIG SLOPPY LIPSTICKED KISSES TO CRISTINA FOR GIVING UP HER TIME TO MAKE THIS. Please check out her site, and then follow her on Twitter. Maybe she’ll follow you too. Now, let’s go hit the town!

Next Week: Marie Lodi, aka Agent Lover, is my pop culture soulmate blogger as well as Rookie Magazine’s Style & Beauty Advice Columnist. One of the songs on her playlist brought out the booty-shakin’ hood Latina in me… Check back next week to see which one.
